the whole fam piled into a rad RV and headed out for a week-long road trip. first stop: vegas, baby!! we didnt stay in the RV while we were in vegas. we stayed at bally's and enjoyed the air conditioning and the pool.
we're a good-lookin bunch, don't ya think?
chloe learned to swim on this trip. i kid you not. not really sure how it happened.. its kinda like how she learned how to ride without training wheels last week. she just all-of-a-sudden finds the courage to do something and she does it... kinda like her mama in that way. i'm so proud of her! the first thing she said when she swam by herself was: " Can I go to swim at Baba jules' house now?" ha ha ha. look at her go:
as many know, there are 2 things that my family holds dear: baseball and.... poker. seriously, we watch high stakes poker, the world poker tour, and the world series of poker together as a family. and, yes, we tivo them all too. ha ha ha. anyways... the world series was going on, of poker that is, while we were in town. so we all headed to the rio to check out the events going on. we walked right past johnny chan and antonio esfandiari but i was on a mission to see my, personal favorite pro: daniel negreanu . i know he may resemble my ex-husband quite a bit by the looks of him but, trust me, that is NOT why i like daniel. in fact, im not physically attracted to him at all but the man is an incredible poker player and has such a great demeanor about him. im rambling again... sorry. so i was on the look-out for mr. negreanu but i didnt see him. and trust me, i tried hard to find him. i played hold-em at the bellagio. most of the pros play inside "the fishbowl" at the bellagio which is a room within the poker room that is entirely glass so you can see inside. i saw sam farha barry greenstein eli elezra minh ly gus hansen who is really hot, by the way... and doyle brunson who is a poker legend. but i never saw daniel : ( i managed to win around $500 playing poker though! so i was stoked!!
me and pops in front of the bellagio.
family portrait in 100-degree weather.. ha hawhile in vegas i definitely recommend visiting dick's last resort. its inside Excalibur and we had a great time eating lunch there. our waiter was awesome... he was hell of funny and said what was on his mind. the kids got buckets of sodaour waiter made us these hats to wear. its kind of what they do there... they make hats out of sheets of white paper and they write something funny on them. chloe's says " i pooped in my pants... not." and mine says " milf." i had an interesting time explaining to my parents what m.i.l.f. stands for. it provided lots of laughs and i was definitely red from embarrassment.clayton: "i play with my sister's barbies" the view from a walkway over the vegas strip at the MGM grand where we saw the lions
we went to the medieval times show at Excalibur. we cheered on our red knight, who was, by far, the best looking of all the knights. and we all had a blast

my brother... 21 years old and his first time to vegas (since turning 21) He hit a royal flush playing video poker and won the jackpot of over $1000. can you say "beginner's luck?" ha ha ha. he was just a little stoked!
vegas was fun, as always. next stop: the grand canyon...
