a family trip to the punkin patch

took a trip out to Lathrop and visited our favorite pumpkin patch: Dell Osso Farms http://www.pumpkinmaze.com/ its a pretty rad place. its got a HUGE corn maze and tons of other fun halloween stuff. the kids had a really good time. here's me and clay panning for gold. well, actually... we paid $5 for a bag of dirt that already had gems and rocks in it, sifted it in the water for a little bit, and got some pretty cool looking stones!

i love it when clay lets himself go and be silly. he's so serious all the time so this was a rare moment:

i told chloe she could either ride a pony or a big horse. i was a little nervous about the big horse but i thought she'd just want to ride a cute little pony. nope. not my daughter. she had to ride the biggest freaking horse they had. i seriously thought she was going to fall off. i walked right by her side. she kept telling me: " look, mommy. im riding the big horse! i'm on the BIG horse!" she was so excited... i was excited that she didnt fall off. seriously.

everyone gave it a try except for chloe. she said they were too loud. she has this wierd noise thing lately. i dunno..
